Fancy Nancy is the Best

Although Roxys birthday is not till the 24th we celebrated it on saturday and had the fanciest Fancy Nancy party in town.  Fancy Nancy is Roxys favorite books.  We had tons of friends over and told them all to dress fancy for the party.  It wasn't so much fun for the boys, but the girls loved it and got all dolled up in their play dresses.
We got this awesome cake from Target and the same lady has made all of the kids birthday cakes.
Grandma Chris and John came in for the party.

Most of the time the guys just hung out in the garage.
Getting ready for the pinata
we got a safety pinata where you just pull the strings instead of hitting it.  Rebekah got the lucky string.
That must have been a great present
She no longer needs help with unwrapping.  When you would ask her what is was she would say "not yet, i need to finish ripping"

Later that night when Roxy was supposed to be sleeping we heard her in her room talking and she had taken her new art table to bed and colored on her face.

We are still pretty tired the next morning.

Where are all the books?

I got home from an errand and RIch told me that the kids were going to "take a nap" together.  They were both on Roxy's bed and they were surrounded by all of her books.

Roxy likes to get my makup and put it on,  The lines on her forehead are her attempt to darken her eyebrows with lip liner.

Urine reflux

Hello family and friends,
We just got back from the doctors with Roxy and found that she has urine reflux.  I know I had never heard of this either.  It does not sound very serious and is easily treatable.   Urine reflux is when the urine that is already in the bladder, shoots back up into the kidneys.  This can cause serious infection and kidney damage.  Right now we are not worried about any of this because she has not had any serious bladder infections and we are catching it WAY early and can treat and watch it.   Poor Roxy had a very rough day and they had to try four times  to put in a catheter, which she was very unhappy with.  Just wanted to let everyone know what was going on

Crate Training Debate

Ever since we got Goldy we have been talking to everyone about whether or not we should crate train the puppy or leave her outside, and we have heard alot of really good arguments both ways.  I think we have decided to go with crate training.

Who would not want crate training
They all fit comfortably
Look how happy they are, and that is all we have ever wanted.  For them to all be happy and healthy.

Roxys First Dance Class

Roxy got to go to her first Dance Class today and she loved it.  We went to the Little Gym.  The class does gymnastics for 20 mins, then tap and then ballet.  Gymnastics was her favorite, she was running all around and had a blast.  All the pics where taken through glass so they are not the clearest of pics.

She did get pretty tired

A day full of doctors

Being the first day of summer I thought why not pack it full of appointments and things that needed to be done.  In the morning we took their kids in for their appointments ( 15 month and 3 years respectively) and then Goldy had her first appointment with the vet and got her first round of vaccines.
Weight
Roxy- 29 lbs
Roscoe- 28.8 lbs
Goldy- 15.8 Lbs

As you can see Roxy and Roscoe are neck and neck  on the weight issue

Height
Roxy 37 inches
Roscoe 31.5 inches
Goldy- about yea high, I don't really know they did not measure that one.

At the vet we found out that goldy had roundworms and as it turned out that Rich was having the symptoms of roundworm the night before, so off Rich went off to the doctors to make sure he was alright.  He is and so is Goldy, she just has to take some medication for a few days.  We are now all healthy and happy and so looking forward to summer...

Our New Puppy

So we have brought home Goldy.  Rich and Roxy picked her up and she is now the most loved puppy in Texas.  Roxy is having a blast with her and really loves bossing her around.

Look how pitiful Roxy is because she was not getting to hold Goldy.
I know, the girl is big
And she is only 8 weeks
I am very proud of Rich of building this dog House
isn't she pretty

Roscoe has already started eating the dog food
Look at the little babies all tired
