Coupon Crazy

SInce I have not been working this summer I have been trying to be really good about watching where our money is spent.  One thing I have been doing is clipping coupons which can save you a lot of money if done in the right way.  I have also been reading my friend Makana blog which is all about saving money and it lets me know where all the great sales are that week.  I think she might be a little crazy because she has challenged herself to only spend 1200 this year on groceries.  I am happy if I am under $500 for the month.  Anyways her blog is  http://www.thegrocerygeek.net/ if you are interested.  But anyways Roscoe got really into helping me find coupons in the paper.

4th of July

The4th of July was pretty fun this year.  In the morning Roxy and I went to a Parade in downtown Friendswood.  She cried most of the time until I let her play with her friend Savannah in the car.  No more parades for a while.

She did really love this noise maker.

In the afternoon we went to a potluck at a friends families house.  It was huge and there were tons of people there.  

They had pony rides and a giant water slide (the kids were too little for that)
