Roscoe is One Year Old

Well it has happened, Roscoe is no longer a baby.  On Saturday he turned one and we had a big party for him.  It was a sports themed party so we all wore jerseys and sports attire.  Roxy wore a too cute Astros cheerleading uniformHere are the kids Great Grandparents who I think got dressed up the most,  Gramps even had a yellow flag for when the kids got out of hand
I found this awesome inflateable soccer ball pit.  The kids had a blast in there.  I think grandma like it too.

There is nothing better than licking frosting off a baby

5 Lucky Winners, who will it be?

Lucky you! The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:

1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It'll be done this year. {might be a little while}
4. You have no clue what it's going to be. It may be a story. It may be poetry or maybe even some creation I haven't even invented yet. I may draw or paint something. I may bake you something and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!
5. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.

The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog. The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me!

* * *Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it!*

The Economic Crunch

For Valentines day Rich wanted to be both Green and economically friendly, so rather than waste money on wrapping paper and fill the land fills with more waste Rich decided to use newspaper and toilet paper to wrap my gifts         .
Yes, that is toilet paper used for the bow.
This is a lunch sack, and toilet paper used for tissue paper
That husband of mine is always looking out for us and the world.  By the way the presents were great.  The Mamma Mia DVD and a new bathrobe.

My Funny Valentine

Today is valentine's Day and I just wanted to take a quick moment to let everyone know what an amazing man Rich Hamm is.  He has changed me and made me such a better person, but he also accepted me with all of my faults.   He makes me feel beautiful and sexy and like the best mom ever and I am so much more in love him now than I ever thought possible.  I love you Rich and will forever .

Friend Highlight: Jamie and Shannon.

So I have been addicted to myspace, facebook and blogging for a awhile now and am chocked by how many "friends" I have.   There are people who I have not talked to in over ten years who I have found or have found me.  It makes me think about all the people who come into your life who become your friend for a short or long amount of time and what impact they have on your life.  I have moved a bit and have been to several different school and have made good friends doing so.  But also in doing this I have had some very short friendships,  but people who I still think about today.  So I have decided to start highlighting people who have come into my life and who I want to keep as a "friend" one way or another.
I am starting with 2 friends, because if I was to do one before the other one would get mad, or feel left out, so heres to you Jamie and Shannon
Jamie and Shannon are the two best friends to come out of San Jose.  I met them both at San Jose State and we graduated together.  I lived in SJ for about 3 years, and while I was there we shared some bog milestones together.  We all graduated from college and got our first real jobs, I had Roxanne, Jamie and Shannon both got married, and I developed my love of Nordstroms through their tutelage.  Shannon is really easy going, and never lets anything get to her (although she is "broke ho") and Jamie is the opposite who is easily provoked (like me) and very high strung.  But they were the best thing that every happened to me when I moved to the bay area.  I am so excited that the both of them are pregnant (don't worry James no one you know reads my blog) and I am so excited for them to both become moms and we can complain and brag to each other and share in that awesome experience together.  I hate that I have only seen them once since I have moved and they have never met my son.  I love that they still call me for all the important things and I still call them.

My little Dare Devil

Roxy was practicing her jumping and let me tell you she is quite good.  I was really lucky to have caught her high-flying adventures on tape.
