Very Good Friends

When we were in San Jose I got to see my two best friends from college. Since I have met them we have had two weddings, three college graduations, six moves, three dogs, and three and half births (Jamie is not quite ripe). But still, I never get to see them. I miss them very much.

Lovin the Cousins

One of the things that we hate about living in Texas is that the kids never get to see their cousins. Before we left we started showing Roxy and Roscoe pics of them and telling them theirs names so that they would know them when they saw them. Well even now a month after vacation when she sees the pics on the computer she yells "theres my cousins"
This is is Richs older sister Kelly and her brood
They are like the smartest kids I have ever met

see Rich is really stressed out playing a game with them, he is awfully competitive

Perry the Platypus

For those Phineas and Ferb fans out there: Roxy took her puppies "candace and Jeremy" to the vet (daddy) and they were sick so the vet gave them medicine. Then she brought her pet platypus to the vet and daddy said to let him rest and she said that's okay he doesn't do much.

Day 2 at Disneyland

On the second day that we were there they opened the gates about 15 minutes early and let people fill up main street and let me tell you it was packed. But what was really cool was once we were all the way in there were camera crews around getting footage of the guests and maybe we will be on a commercial someday!!!
The second day in the morning we went off just the Hamms and got in 7 rides in an hour. I was AWESOME. We did all the rides in fantasy land and the kids loved not having to stand in lines.

Oh no Roxy is getting eaten by Monstro
Rich totally owes me for going on the tea cups

Later on we met up with my fam at California Adventures

We got to meet a few characters along the way.

Day one of Disneyland.

Here we are heading off to Disneyland on the first day. See how cute we are in our matching outfits.
The first morning we all stuck together and went on a bunch of rides together with everyone. We all had shirts with the reunion logo. Melissa had it all planned out and we all just followed along.

They loved the Jungle Boat
The whole trip it kept hitting me how big and old Roscoe is getting.
Roxy loved having her cousins around. Although she did refer to emmy as the girl cousin

all the ladies

This was Richs favorite ride

We ended the day with the main street parade. Emmy took Roxy out to dance and it brought me to tears to see them playing together.

Family Home Evening

This summer we went to Disneyland for a family reunion with the Jensen's. It was so much fun. Even though Ben and his family, Becca and Raul were not able to come, we were able to push past the tears and have a spectacular time. The first night we went to Mimi's Cafe and had family home evening. But it was really weird because no one was fighting.

I love my family so much so this dinner was so much fun because I have not seen most of them in so long. It was really funny to see our HUGE group walking down the street.
oh, yeah. Roscoe likes butter

And for dessert we ate Lissa's shirt.

Our last day

We were sad that such an anticipated trip had come to and end, but we really did have the best time. It could not have gone any better (except maybe if the kids learned to wait patiently in line). Best of all the last day we finally got to meet Micky Mouse

And the princess'

It was fun seeing Roxy dance with my dad

already a ladies man
