Roscoe or Quasi Modo

When Roscoe is really excited he opens his mouth real big and throws back his head in this expression that for some reason reminds me of Quasi Modo.  It is so hilarious.  no matter what he has done or what kind of a mood I am in, this face always cracks me up.

I love my brother so much

So lately Roxy has really loved her brother in a very physically rough way.  She loves to sit on him and pull him down and jump on him and play with him.  He usually had fun and laughs, but sometimes she gets to rough.  So inevitabley I have to tell her to get off and without fail she always turns and says, "but I love brother so much."

last night rich wanted me to go and check and Roxy because her leg was draped over the bed rail.  But I happened to notice that she also had put on a pair of panties over her jammies.  That girl,

TOO TIGHT

Lately Roxy has decided that she can not wear things that are too tight.  The worst are her long sleeve pajamas.  I cannot strech them out enough.   This morning getting ready for church I heard too tight a lot. Here are all the things that were too tight.

1.  Her shirt has elastic in the sleeves, and the were "TOO TIGHT"  so i had to undo the seems just a bit and pull the elastic out.

2.  Her hair was "TOO TIGHT"   I tried a couple of different things but wound up with the original pig tails and bows that were too tight.

3.  Her shoes were too tight, were not too tight yesterday, but today they were "TOO TIGHT."  We tried three pairs, and she settled for ones that did not match her outfit, but she said she likes them because they are high heels.

SO one thing that texas is famous for is Blue Bell Ice Cream.  My SIL Hillary used to live out here and is always talking about the ice cream, well HIllary eat your heart out.

Roscoe AKA Linus

As you have all seen many pictures of my precious Roxanne and her pink striped blankie, you will have a good idea where Roscoe is getting his new nickname of Linus.  He has TWO blankies, and is so funny with them.  When he wakes from his naps and we go in to get them he reached down to get them before we can pick them up.  And now that he is walking he has managed to learn to walk while carrying them both,  one over the shoulder, the other between the legs.  The man is a genius.

Roscoes first venture to Leatherbys

So as you have seen from my previous post that Roscoe is one now.  He and I took a trip out to Cal, just us, and I got the pleasure of taking my son to Leatherby's.  I loved going to Leatherby's as kid and remember the HUGE rachel sunday (not named after me)  that you can never really never finish as a kid (and some adults MATTHEW).  He had blast with his cousin Sam.  I'm really glad that I got to take him there.

I think Sam liked the ice cream too.
