Black Friday

Now some people have told me that I am a crazy woman for shopping on Black Friday.  These people have obviously never felt the thrill of getting the last toy at 80% off, or getting up at 2:30 to get in line by three and when the stores opens at five seeing at least 150 people who will not be getting in that store before you.  For me Black Friday is a competitive event.   I love winning.  I love beating other people.  This year I was trying to get an Elmo farm set from Target and I had the worker go in back to get more.  By the time that the lady came back out there were 9 woman waiting for these elmo sets.  She brought out 3.  Needless to say I got one.  It is also great knowing that I will be able to do all my shopping in one day and KNOW that I am getting the best possible price.  

Oh, yeah I also like buying things for my babies!!!

This was my best year ever.  I went to ToysRus first and was out of there by 5:15.  I got everything there that I wanted to get, and a little more.  From there I stood in line at Target (who opened at 6) and got in there and got all that I wanted except for one thing (which I found one of the next day).  From there I went to Old Navy, and then Wal-mart.  I am proud to say that I am done with my shopping and I was home by 7:30!!!

Poor Baby Roscoe

So roscoe has been acting a little bit sick the past week or so and today he had his 9 month check up.  (23 lbs 9oz if you are interested) and come to find out the kid has an ear infection.  We had no idea.  So he was so pitiful today.  We have pillows on the couch which wind up on the floor and whenever Roscoe would come across one we would lay he big ol head on it.  It was sad.  He was pretty miserable. But after only two doses of antibiotics he was 90x better and jumping on his bed again and ready to run (crawl) away from mommy.  Gotta love modern medicine.

Twilight

So for those of you who went and saw it at midnight I salute you.  I did wait until Friday at 10:00.  But We were fourth in line and the best seats in the theater.  I went with my friends and two of us wore Twilight shirts.  Nerds I know, but we were so adorable.  The crowd was pretty big, it went out the door and down the steps of the Cinemark.  It was funny whenever a group came out of the movie they were cheering.

I really liked the movie but there were a few things that I don't think came across well in the movie.  Like Carlisle and and when Edward was in the sunlight.

all in all though it was so fun to go with friends and and see a great movie.  Oh, yes my shirt does say "team jacob, Cause life is better half-naked"  and I think that most of you would agree with me on that.
